What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is widely accepted in the Unites States and has been endorsed by the World Health Organization and the National Institute of Health. It is safe, effective approach to alleviating many conditions that millions of people throughout the Unites States use every year. It's the treatment of pain or disease by inserting the tip of needles at specific points on the skin. The acupuncturist is able to influence health and sickness by stimulating certain areas along these "meridians". Traditionally these areas or "acupoints" were stimulated by fine, slender needles. Acupuncture is a 3000-year old medical therapy, and it is one of the oldest continuously practised forms of medicine in the world, based on natural laws describing the movement of energy in nature and the body.
